Magpie People are working with a specialist Manufacturing company based in Rotherham who are looking to recruit an experience Production Planner / Production Controller.

My longstanding client are a market leading company supplying into a range of sectors including Aerospace, Nuclear, Power Generation and Oil and Gas.. The role has been created as part of their continued growth

Main Duties of the role

• Focus on capacity planning across the business to maximise production output
• Working as part of a team to convert customer orders and produce Production Schedules to ensure production deadlines are met
• Liaising with Production and sales teams to ensure production plans are meeting the needs of the customer and are realistic with the capacity available
• Responsible for maintaining planning systems (MRP system)
• Look for opportunities to increase efficiencies across the Manufacturing process
• Ensuring all orders are planned in liaison with other parts of the business

You should have

• A Capacity Planning background ideally from a Manufacturing environment
• Experience of working as part of a team, working closely with the production team to ensure customer delivery expectations are met
• Experience of using MRP / SAP systems for planning and stock control
