CNC Grinder

Magpie People are working with a specialist Engineering company based in Dinnington. My client are a well established company with a strong order book and are investing in the growth of the business

This is a straight days role

Main Duties of the role

  • Safely and efficiently set and operate a CNC Grinding machine
  • Load programs and set machine parameters to ensure optimal performance of the equipment
  • Capable of carrying out all day-to-day functions required to keep machines operating at maximum efficiency
  • Following instruction from works orders and drawings
  • Perform quality checks during the stages of production and highlighting any discrepancies
  • Meeting customer deadlines by achieving daily targets according to the production schedule
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and safety

You should have

  • Strong precision Grinding background, preferably with experience of Siemens controls
  • A background working with medium volume prodcution and one off bespoke work
  • Prior knowledge and ability to read engineering drawings is desirable
